Skylarking is a spacious modern villa in the gated Silver Sands Resort, near Montego Bay, Jamaica. It is designed for luxurious idleness, where your days are made up of slow mornings, indulgent lazy afternoons, delicious meals to be slowly savoured and numerous spots in which to nestle comfortably.

The villa is staffed by a friendly dedicated chef who prepares all your meals while meeting your dietary requirements and a housekeeper who diligently prepares the villa for quiet relaxation and a memorable stay. On entering the villa, the first impression is of how spacious it all is. The main living space is open plan and forms part of the 3,500 sq. ft accommodation which provides ample space for quiet relaxation or fun-filled entertainment. Some features are the Yamaha piano nestled in a corner of the living room, a 55” smart TV and the Bluetooth state of the art Naim music system.

The villa has 4 spacious en suite bedrooms with generous walk in rain showers. One bedroom and its bathroom is wheelchair accessible. There is air conditioning, ceiling fans, cable TV, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth speakers to link to and charge your personal devices in all bedrooms. Accessible from the living room is an enclosed open-air courtyard with views of the stars by night and the sun by day. The courtyard is made complete by a spectacular custom designed backlit feature wall designed and installed by local artist Daisy Robertson. The outside space boasts a beautiful fifty-foot long pool with wide deck, well landscaped and perfect for entertaining and giving guests the option to dine inside or out, while taking in the beautiful Caribbean Sea views.

On arrival guests are greeted by our housekeeper and chef on the long-shaded veranda and provided with hand sanitizers, a cold towel and the villa’s signature drink of lemongrass ice tea. Guests are then given an orientation of the villa facilities. Silver Sands Resort benefits from a beautiful stretch of private white sand beach with a bar and café, tennis court, a communal garden and an exceptional mountain view. To the south end of the pool deck is a white pergola with seating perfect for relaxation or a celebratory event. The lush green mountains provide a beautiful backdrop to the pergola. There is also 24 hours security.

Skylarking has recently been listed on the “Resilient Corridor Accommodations List” as being accredited by Jamaica’s Tourism Product Development Company (TPDCo). The Resilient Corridor includes the coastline from Negril to Port Antonio. Only businesses within the corridor that have been trained and assessed for adherence to Covid-19 protocols are allowed to open to tourists.
