The Cathedral room is our largest and most often used meeting room. Sliding glass doors along one wall provide natural light and views of Fallen Leaf Lake. Full blinds are available to darken the room for projection. The Cathedral room comfortably seats 120 classroom-style or 180 theater-style. A large front screen and ceiling mounted LCD projector provide easy to see presentations. A 42″ monitor mounted in the ceiling provides easy viewing for meeting participants sitting in the back of the room. The Cathedral room is named for Cathedral Lake, located up to the West of Stanford Sierra on the way to Mt. Tallac.
The Angora room has filtered views of Fallen Leaf Lake and moderate natural light due to a covered deck outside. The room comfortably seats 180 theater-style or 120 classroom. Many groups use the Angora room for their poster sessions. We have 10 6′ x 4′ double-sided poster boards we set on tables.
The Old Lodge is truly the “old Lodge” and was built in 1932. The room maintains its original charm with a large stone fireplace, hardwood floors, wood paneling and comfortable couches and easy chairs. Groups use the Old Lodge for breakout sessions. We’re happy to move the furniture around for theater style seating and move a projector and screen into the room. The best use of the Old Lodge is for evening social hours. In warm weather, guests can filter out onto the spacious deck. The Old Lodge also connects to the Cathedral room to provide more socializing space for large groups. There are two pianos in the room, so encourage the pianists in your group to put on an impromptu concert!
The Tallac room is set as a boardroom and seats about 20 comfortably. Windows along one wall provide a beautiful view of an aspen grove. Many groups use the Tallac room as headquarters for their meeting or as a breakout room. It has a wall-mounted 70″ screen with HDMI inputs for presentations. The Tallac room is named for 9,735′ high Mount Tallac which is behind Stanford Sierra and is recognized as the signature peak of South Lake Tahoe.
