Barbeque Area
There is a paved outdoor seated area with picnic benches and a barbecue for al-fresco dining. This overlooks a small coppice which houses our flock of hens, a wendy house and our traversing wall.
Playbarn
Our playbarn was renovated in July 2020. In it you will find a pool table, table tennis table and a wide variety of toys, craft equipment and games for babies, toddlers, children (and adults!) DVDs and board games can be borrowed for use in the cottages.
Rest in luxurious comfort
Thor Cottage
Thor's cave is a popular spectacle for tourists and only a short 15-minute walk away. It is a must see and, as we are the nearest house to the cave, can be appreciated from the comfort of your cottage every morning.
The two-storey stone-walled cottage, part of a former cowshed/hay loft, sleeps five people in two bedrooms. The open plan living space boasts a well-equipped kitchen area including fridge/freezer, electric cooker with hob, coffee machine, microwave, kettle, toaster and all basic kitchen essentials.
There is a dining table with four chairs and comfortable seating area with electric fire, smart TV with access to Netflix, an Alexa echo and a variety of different books and games for all the family.
Manifold Cottage
The two-storey stone-walled cottage, part of a former cowshed/hay loft, sleeps four people in two bedrooms. The open plan living space boasts a well-equipped kitchen area including fridge/freezer, electric cooker with hob, coffee machine, microwave, kettle, toaster and all basic kitchen essentials.
There is a dining table with four chairs and comfortable seating area with electric fire, smart TV with access to Netflix, an Alexa echo and a variety of different books and games for all the family. Upstairs there is one double bedroom and a bunk room. Both bedrooms have fabulous views over the Manifold Valley and have room for a travel cot – which can be provided, with air flow mattress and sheets- if required. The bathroom comprises WC, sink, heated towel rail, bath and an electric shower.
The cottage has a lawn to the front with a seating area overlooking the Manifold Valley.

Fun things to do nearby
Wetton is an attractive stone-built moorland village centred around a 14th century church and the Olde Royal Oak Inn.
There is a small village green and a large playing field with football pitch, zip wire, swings and climbing frame. There is also a lovely tearoom in the village hall. The neighbouring village of Alstonefield is very picturesque, with a 12th Century Church, original well, playing field and lovely play area for younger children.

What is the cancellation policy for Hall Farm Holiday Cottages
In the event of cancellations made within 6 weeks of the start date, the total cost of your holiday is payable. If we are able to re-let we will refund the holiday cost minus any difference in the price received.
What is the deposit policy for Hall Farm Holiday Cottages
A non refundable deposit of 25% is required to confirm your booking. The deposit secures your booking with the balance payable 6 weeks prior to arrival. If your booking is within 6 weeks the full amount is payable at the time of booking. Written confirmation will be forwarded by post or email on receipt of your booking deposit.
