Beach Bungalow
The beach bungalows are the latest and most upscale addition to our camp. Trust us, you’re in for a treat! The bungalows are spacious and have a private outdoor bathroom with hot water. Located smack on the beach these beautiful cabanas offer a breathtaking view over the sea, from the room and from the spacious terrace.
Lagoon View Bungalows: Open air bathroom and Private in-room bathroom
There are 2 types of lagoon view bungalows, they all have private bathroom and toilets: 6 with private open air bathroom and 4 with private in-room bathroom. From your terrace you can enjoy the beauty of the mangroves and the beach.

Restaurant
Food is life, especially when you’re kitesurfing! All meals at Kitesurfing Lanka are buffet style and the food is delicious! Our chef prepares a yummy mix of traditional Sri Lankan food and European cuisine, and a vast array of vegeterian and meat dishes. We use fresh produce all year, local fruits, vegetables and fresh seafood caught by the fishermen right in front of the kite camp.
In the morning you can enjoy a rich breakfast buffet with fresh fruits, yoghurt, cereals, omelettes, coffee, tea and milk.
For lunch and dinner, our Sri Lankan chef subtly mixes Sri Lankan dishes like Rice & Curry, Hoppers and Kottu, as well as French specialties such as Roast Chicken, Filet Beef Marinade and many others international specialties. Did we forget to mention our desserts?!
Our restaurant can receive outside guests, everyone can come to enjoy the KSL buffet or choose the “a la carte “ option.
Every Saturday night we have a big BBQ with prawns, calamari, pork, chicken, sausage, potatoes in abundance. A lot of travellers love the BBQ because the atmosphere is very friendly.
If you are vegetarian, vegan, or have any others special diets, please let us know in advance and our chef will prepare a special meal for you. And if you celebrate a birthday, a wedding or another special occasion, you can order anything you wish: homemade cake, lobster, fillet beef…
KSL Bar
Choose between our in camp bar or the beach bar!
Our bar staff are amazing and will make sure you have a great time. We serve a variety of juices, smoothies, milkshakes, coffees, and of course alcoholic beverages (maybe try a KSL special if you’re feeling adventurous!). There are also a variety of games behind the bar so if you fancy a game just ask.
Our bartenders make delicious fresh juices with fruits from the village, like pineapple, papaya, mango & banana. If you are dehydrated from a long kite session we suggest drinking a royal coconut to refresh your mind and body.
We serve national beers and a rich list of cocktails to enjoy in the evening, and before leaving Sri Lanka, you must try the traditional and famous Old Arrack which is made from coconuts.
The KSL bar has an espresso machine with Sri Lankan coffee: “Old Ceylon”. Come to the bar and choose your “Café”: Espresso, Cappuccino, Café Latte, Café Royal, Espresso Banana and Café Shakerato.

Fun things to do nearby
You can’t kitesurf 24/7, believe us we’ve tried! Sometimes your body needs a break! We have a great selection of activities and pampering options for when your body needs to rest, and for all of you non-kitesurfers to indulge in.
There's plenty to do without even having to leave the camp! We have a mini spa in our camp where you can get a shiatsu massage, or you can join us for a yoga class on the yoga deck. Grab a boardgame from behind the bar, join us for one of several workshops or hop on a bike, kayak or SUP and explore the surroundings on your own. If you’d like to experience more of Sri Lanka (and you should!) we are happy to arrange sightseeing tours for you. We can also arrange National Park safaris, or dolphin and whale watching tours, as well as diving in the winter season.
Location & how to get here
We are located on the West Coast of Sri Lanka in Kalpitiya, on the peninsula of Puttalam and we’re definitely not your average kind of hotel. The Indian Ocean is ideal for kitesurfing, and the best thing is that its right in front of the camp! The small islets, reefs and sandbanks along the north of the peninsula present the perfect opportunity for downwinders and other kite trips.
