The saltwater pool is sited to maximize its view over the valley. The black liner not only reflects its surroundings but also keeps the water temperature beautifully warm. There are underwater lights for evening swims. Sun loungers and pool toys are provided.

The farmhouse is set on the saddle of a hill with far-reaching views to the south and west. On the slopes below there are lines of vines and an olive grove. The woodland around the house offers wonderful walks and opportunities for spotting wildlife such as porcupines and black squirrels. In the early mornings, you may be lucky enough to see deer feeding in the olive grove.

Torricella is available year-round for weddings or other group events and is best suited to intimate gatherings of up to 35 guests.

Badia Petroia is a 10-minute drive and has a supermarket and bar with outside seating.

Trestina has three supermarkets, banks, a post office, doctors, shops, bars, and restaurants, and is on the regional railway line from Perugia.

There is a weekly Farmer’s Market in Umbertide, one of the larger towns not far away. It also has tennis courts.
