The house is located on a private, secluded hillside at the entrance of Tamarindo with breathtaking views of Tamarindo estuary and the Pacific Ocean all the way north to Playa Grande yet 5 minutes walking distance to the beach and town center.

We are happy to announce that we now have an excellent local chef available for preparing delicious lunches and dinners at Casa Alang Alang so you can relax and enjoy Costa Rica the way it is meant to be enjoyed! This service is being offered at a reasonable rate and includes the preparation of lunch, sunset drinks and snacks and dinner as well as the cleaning up after. Food cost is not included in this price, but we can organize grocery shopping for you, so you have one less thing to worry about! Regarding the food cost, you will be able to discuss with our chef about your menu preferences, so the food cost will depend on what you would like to eat and drink. We offer complimentary grocery shopping for you, to further enhance your stay at 5 star Casa Alang Alang.

What is the cancellation policy for Casa Alang Alang
1) If the reservation is cancelled 95 days before the check-in date, all monies paid will be reimbursed. 2) In the event of cancellation within 95 days from the check-in date, all amounts paid shall be forfeited unless the Property can be re-booked, in which case the guest shall be charged a twenty-five (25%) percent re-booking fee. Exception - In case of an official travel ban (Guest cannot travel from their country and/or enter Costa Rica) due to Covid-19 1)If the reservation is cancelled 60 days before the check-in date, all monies paid will be reimbursed to the Guest. However, if the guest accepts full credit for a future travel date, we will add a 10% bonus to the credit amount. 2) If a travel ban happens within the 60 days before the check-in date, the Guest will be offered a future travel credit without penalties, plus a 10% bonus added to the credit. New travel dates should be within 12 months of the original check-in date. 3)The credit is available to our guests in the most flexible way: *For personal use, family or friends *As a whole or split over several groups/trips *For any stay with us in any of our properties at elitebeachvillas.com, of course depending on availability.
