Vanessa loves pursuing creative ways of self-expression. While in her hometown, Caracas, Venezuela, she dabbled in dancing, theater, and improv. She tabled her creative pursuits to focus on her academic career when she moved to the United States. She worked in the hospitality industry for four years but realized she was not fulfilled.

She discovered her passion for pole dancing in 2016. Pole dance was a way to reconnect with her artistic side, but it ended up meaning much more. Pole dance became her safe space at a time where she was not comfortable with anything in her life, including the way her body looked. She felt more confident, sexy and true to herself at every size through her (re)discovery journey.

Vanessa is also passionate about all aspects of human behavior and how the mind works. Her journey led her to build a space for transformation, uniting coaching, the power of experience, and creative practices.

Her workshops use movement therapy, mindfulness, and dance. Her goal is to help individuals embrace their sensuality and stop looking for validation from others. Through working with Vanessa, clients can expect a rekindling of their curiosity, gaining clarity on their goals and building confidence in following their life’s vision. It is time to fee free and start living life on our own terms!

What are your favorite Retreat Venues around the world

Camp Ramah in USA - I loved spending a weekend of yoga and connection with nature. I loved the throwback feeling of being back in a school camp setting and sharing spaces with strangers that became friends.

What's your personal definition of what it means to thrive?

Thriving is the result of a sensuality-driven life. We often hear the term sensuality as used to refer to our sexual side. However, when we expand the concept of sensuality we realize that it pertains to everything. Using our senses to move away from survival mode and create a pleasurable life is the utmost definition of thriving.

Who do you look up to ? Who has helped you the most along your teacher / retreat leader journey?

Tracee Kafer. Mia Pineda. Matthew Hussey. Layla Martin. I admire all these people because they embody who they are and their gifts, as they create a space where others can benefit from their teachings and have fun as they peel the layers that hold them back from living an intentional, embodies life.
