Ideally situated on the Cornwall & Devon border, in the heart of the Tamar Valley, an area of outstanding natural beauty. The secluded and tranquil riverside setting offers an overwhelming sense of calmness.
Pentillie can accommodate up to 22 guests in their 9 luxury en-suite bedrooms, plus two additional bedrooms in the castellated turrets sharing a bathroom. All first floor bedrooms have stunning views of the River Tamar across to Devon or of the historic Castle gardens. One bedroom is located on the ground floor, with a wet room facility, to enable disabled friendly access, and most bedrooms can be twinned if requested.
With numerous reception rooms to relax in, space both inside and out to hold classes and workshops, two large kitchens and a beautiful dining room with doors onto the terrace. Both self-catered and catered stays can be arranged. Guests have the exclusive use of Pentillie's AGA kitchen to cook their evening meals, hearty breakfasts and lunches. Alternatively, a seperate commercail kitchen is available for private chefs to use, for those requiring a catered stay.
Further to this, there are two additional areas included within hire of Pentillie. The Clock Tower offers a quiet space with table and chairs, seating up to 10 guests, plus a soft seating area accommodation an extra 6 guests. The Repton Room has a lino floor with adjustable underfloor heating.
Guests are welcomed to take a dip in the outdoor solar heated swimming pool, or enjoy a wild swim in the River Tamar from the private quay. With 55-acres of woodland gardens to explore, meditation at the Stone Circle, riverside yoga, woodland walks, foraging, waking up to the dawn chorus and endless hideaways can all feature on your bespoke itinerary.
