Namaste, friends.

My name is Patricia Rodriguez, although many know me as That Traveling Yogi. Sometimes a teacher and always a student, my life has been deeply linked to yoga and world exploration for over four years. I have had the humbling luxury of sharing yogic knowledge with many souls across the world in the form of classes, workshops, and retreats.

The current global situation has brought me back "home" to Canada where I have began taking my teachings online to create community during these confusing moments. My classes are full of loving energy and support. Yoga is so much more than asanas to me and I feel it my duty to ripple that onto my students.

Whether you are a beginner or an advanced practitioner, there is room for you to play and learn in my classes/ workshops/ retreats. My teachings come from a place of intuition in hopes of guiding you to spaces within your physical and emotional body that you did not know were accessible to you.

Retreat Specialties

The retreats I host are so full of love, beautiful moments, and bringing women together. We create ultimate magic during each moment with a realm of activities specifically designed for the theme of the retreat. Don't take it from me through, please read the reviews on my Facebook page. Those are the words of my students and if I could sum all the reviews into one, it would be "life-changing".

What are your favorite Retreat Venues around the world

Tamazirt by Amayour in Morocco. The retreats I have hosted all have a very special place in my heart, truly! Having said that, there has only been one place that I would be happy returning to over and over to create magic in. There is excellence and authenticity in everything they put together. The owner of the space is one of the most understanding and supportive women I have met to date.

What's your personal definition of what it means to thrive?

To thrive, in my opinion, is to overcome the challenges that life presents to us. Most importantly, I think we thrive when we are present for each experience that we undergo. We thrive when we acknowledge the difficult moments and when we acknowledge the moments that come after the difficult ones have past. Living in presence is thriving. Taking breaths is thriving. Allowing our feelings to fluctuate and being okay with our humanity is thriving.

Who do you look up to ? Who has helped you the most along your teacher / retreat leader journey?

All the teachers that came before me who kept the practice alive and shared it with others so that eventually it could make its way to me.
