An avid yoga practitioner, I didn’t begin to teach until I was in my fifties. My first class was outdoors by the beach in Mexico. The regular teacher was on holidays so I volunteered. I had already fallen in love with Yin yoga and discovered Paul Grilley’s online page. With no training I taught for two weeks. Teaching was so rewarding I wanted to do more. I started with a 35 hour teacher training program then took my 200 hours. I now have over 500 hours of teacher training. And my love of teaching Yin has only grown. Wall yin and aerial yoga have become my passions. I’ve hosted a retreat in Sayulita, Mexico and a workshop in Canmore, Alberta. I look forward to hosting more retreats in Mexico in the future. I continue to teach yin yoga in Sayulita during the winter months.
