The Quaives country estate is less than 2 hours drive from London, in the village of Wickhambreaux, Kent. There are 19 acres of open space, manicured gardens and winding paths leading to private cottages, secret gardens, a yoga studio, tennis court, swinging kissing bench and hot tub.

There are 19 acres of open space, half of which are beautifully manicured gardens, with big trees, a secret garden, tennis court, a bridge over a pond, winding paths, lots of flowers and a swinging kissing bench, and the other half is a huge field.

Diner-Lounge
A Scandinavian style lounge - diner. One end of the room is a dining area with tables and a self-help kitchen. While the other end has lovely big sofas and a log burner where guests can chill, read and chat.
Facilities include: Self help kitchen, kettles, fridge, dishwasher, sink, 2x large tables (24 seats), 3 large sofas, log burner
Hot Tub
Beneath the pine trees in the far open field you have a Scandinavian wood-fired hot tub for up to 8 to relax in - enjoy the vast sky, treelines and surrounding countryside by day and stargazing at night. If you’re lucky you’ll see a shooting star or hear the lions roaring in the nearby zoo.

N.B. the Hot Tub is an add-on.

In the middle of the grounds you have a tennis court with a pair of rackets and balls for anyone who’s up for a game!

We are blessed to have the most wonderful retreat chefs who are highly skilled and experienced, with a great passion for nourishing all of our retreat guests with gourmet vegetarian food, that is tasty and inspiring. Our chefs have trained with Holistic Kitchen academy - an excellent progressive training specifically for cooking on retreats.
BOOKING PROCESS
After booking your retreat, we will put you in touch with the chef to discuss any dietary requirements and themes that you would like incorporated into your retreat menu.
FOOD SOURCE
We source as much produce as we can from local organic farmers, Wingham & Country Market, which also means less plastic, packaging waste and travel!

The Quaives estate covers 19 acres of prime Kent countryside so if you don’t feel inclined to venture very far, you’ll find plenty of space among the grounds to sit and read, stroll around our kitchen garden, do a bit of sunbathing (here’s hoping) or tuck into a freshly prepared picnic. Our tennis court will be available for idle knockabouts/highly competitive matches on a (literal) first come, first serve basis, and you’ll find a host of lawn games to play, too. Up at the Patio, we’ll be serving lunch and drinks throughout the afternoon and into the evening when we’ll also light up the fire pit.

What is the cancellation policy for The Quaives
A reservation requires a deposit of 30% of the total price. The deposit is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelled, unless UK government restrictions are in place and the event is unable to go ahead. The rest of the payment should be paid 30 days before arrival. No refunds
