Brae Room
Brae Room is equipped with AV equipment, a screen and projector making it perfect for presentations, talks or screenings for up to 30 people.
The Library
The Library is a cozy and elegant room lined with bookshelves filled with a curated selection of literature. The room is decorated with rich, comfortable furnishings and artwork that reflects the eclectic and artistic spirit of The Fife Arms. The ambiance is one of quiet contemplation, making it an ideal setting for more intimate or reflective gatherings.

Croft Rooms
Inspired by a traditional Scottish croft house, our cosiest rooms feature a charming, traditional cabin bed that’s spacious for one or snug for two. Each bed has been hand-painted by artists with some featuring scenes of the surrounding Scottish landscape, which these rooms overlook. Room sizes are approximate.
Nature & Poetry Rooms
The grandeur of the Scottish natural landscape has inspired countless writers and poets. Our Nature and Poetry Rooms feature artwork and objects made from natural materials such as heather, horn and tweed. The rooms feature beautiful wooden headboards with words by Scottish poet, Alec Finlay, carved into them. Interconnecting rooms are available. Room sizes are approximate.

Enjoy open-fire cooking in our Clunie Dining Room – a feast for the senses, where the finest Scottish produce is masterfully crafted into exquisite dishes that celebrate local, fresh and seasonal ingredients.
The Flying Stag
It was said that if you were looking for someone in Braemar, the first place you should look was the public bar at The Fife Arms. The Flying Stag public bar continues to be the social centre of the village. With regulars rubbing shoulders with visitors, the bar has a vibrant atmosphere with animated conversation and live entertainment every Wednesday and Friday from local musicians. The bar offers local beers, Scottish whiskies and spirits accompanied by a menu of hearty Scottish dishes and warm hospitality.
Afternoon Tea
Experience a taste of the extraordinary at The Fife Arms as our guest for Afternoon Tea. Enter a world of creativity, where you will dine in The Clunie surrounded by a dramatic abstract mural by contemporary Argentinian artist Guillermo Kuitca.
Osteria da Fife
This summer discover Osteria da Fife, our pop-up al fresco dining experience in the heart of The Fife Arms.
Inspired by a traditional Italian Osteria (Taverna), local produce is celebrated whilst simplicity and quality meet to create an unforgettable experience.
In Italian culture, community and family are honoured, values we share at The Fife Arms, and Osteria da Fife was created to provide an opportunity to gather with loved ones, family and friends, and indulge in a delicious Italian feast.
Located in the Fog House and courtyard, enjoy steaks cooked over fire served with salsa verde, handmade pasta, risotto and seasonal salads, whilst sipping a traditional aperitivo style Italicus spritz. And of course no Italian meal is complete without a traditional homemade tiramisu.
Bertie's Whisky Bar
Bertie’s Whisky Bar, is a sumptuously elegant and glamorous whisky bar, named in honour of Queen Victoria’s eldest son, King Edward VII, also known as ‘Bertie’.
Elsa's
An exquisite jewel box of a bar, Elsa’s brings Art Deco glamour to the Highlands. Inspired by fashion designer Elsa Schiaparelli’s signature style, love of shocking pink and “bon mots”, this bijou bar offers champagne and hand-crafted cocktails that are beautifully presented. The perfect spot for a pre-prandial aperitif or a late-night digestif, the bar showcases Scottish spirits and elixirs.
The Cellar
Nestled in the heart of the hotel, the Cellar offers a selection of over 50 wines by the glass and over 400 bottles on the list. Join us for wine tasting, Monday-Saturday.

Located in the neighbouring village of Ballater, our sister property Fish Shop has been created for those who enjoy freshly caught, ethically sourced seafood from Scotland and the British Isles.
