Our yoga retreats are led by our incredible team of professional and experienced international yoga teachers in our open-air yoga shalas, to create a relaxed, tranquil and natural environment.

Talalla Retreat offers the perfect setting to conduct a retreat, training or conference. The Yoga Shala is large and can accommodate up to 45 participants, it is an open-sided studio, with a large wall along the back, ideal where wall space is needed. The studio is set in an open grassed coconut grove opposite the large swimming pool.

We offer a smaller yoga shala which is perfect for private groups and an open beachfront shala available for sunrise yoga or meditation. There is no charge for using the Talalla Yoga Shalas. It is included as part of your groups package. We provide speakers and projectors, as well as all props including mats, blankets, blocks and bolsters.

Sooth tired muscular aches after days out surfing with a deep tissue, reflexology or aromatherapy massage at the ultimate Sri Lanka Spa Experience. Wrap, scrub or smooth out any last remnants of stress with skillfully trained expert practitioners at their best.

Centuries-old Ayurvedic techniques inspire modern treatments, and the signature Shirodhara has been re-created at Talalla. Here, a mixture of essential oils are gently poured on your Third Eye Chakra – allowing you to release any final mental tension. Enjoy an Ayurvedic Massage, where a relaxing full body massage combines with warm ayurvedic herbal oil to cleanse and balance the internal systems and energy center of the body.

Much of the resort’s herbs and spices are grown organically on the property, while other seasonal ingredients are freshly sourced daily from local markets and fishermen.
