Our roomiest, ocean-front rooms offer plenty of space to unpack and unwind plus outdoor space with views of the Caribbean Sea—in addition to a relaxed, artsy vibe. Some have funky outdoor showers; some have an outdoor daybed, perfect for afternoon naps or dreamy nights spent under the stars. Our Deluxe Ocean View rooms include Abalone One + Up, Cockles Up & Down, and Hammerhead Three. (Hammerhead Two + Three, if booked together, include an adjoining kitchen.)

To get a sense of the agricultural diversity of the area surrounding Treasure Beach, look no farther than the Jakes menu, scrawled on its chalkboard and changing at the start of each day. Here, you’ll find freshly grilled seafood, salads and soups made with vegetables grown just a few miles away—think kale-watermelon salad, arugula salad, pumpkin-ginger soup and gazpacho—as well as the best versions of Jamaican classics, like conch fritters and coconut curried chicken with steamed callaloo and plantains. Our seasonal seafood dishes—fish, crab and lobster—are bountiful and fished in a manner that preserves our eco-friendly standards. All of our desserts and ice creams are house-made.
Dougies Bar
Dougies Bar overlooks Jakes pool and the Caribbean Sea beyond. It’s not a fancy place, but it’s homey. Everyday, people gather around to hang out and comment on the scene and the Jamaican memorabilia tacked up on the walls, including an iconic image of Reggae immortal Bob Marley. Stick around for cards, backgammon or dominoes as the sun goes down and the moon comes up. The blender starts whirring at 10 a.m. each morning and the drinks and snacks come to an end when the last guest calls it quits for the evening.

Location & how to get here
Most of Jamaica is green and lush, picture-postcard Caribbean, but this corner of the island—cut off by the Santa Cruz mountains—gets little rainfall. Here, instead of swaying palms you’ll see cacti and acacia. Instead of white sand beaches, you’ll find black sand bays with miles of sweeping savannas and rugged, rolling coastline.
