What is the cancellation policy for The Ark Ubud Bali
CANCELLATION POLICY: Exceptions to our policy will not be made for any reason. We do not offer discounts, refunds or credit for arriving late or leaving early and any offered activities or services missed throughout your reservation. The Ark Ubud Bali, offers no refunds for any reason, including weather, injury, or personal emergencies*. We are committed to providing a high-quality experience, have very limited openings and maintain a standard of never canceling a confirmed reservation; therefore, we expect to receive only firm bookings. We highly recommend that the renter purchase insurance to cover their investment and protect themselves against risk. However, if a host must cancel their reservation, our policy is as follows: 1.Cancellation 90 days prior to the first day of reservation, 25% of any of the amount paid over 25% nonrefundable deposit will be forfeited. The remaining amount will be credited to another available reservation within one year of original booking. 2.Cancellation between 90 - 60 days prior to the first day of reservation, 50% of any of the amount paid over 25% nonrefundable deposit will be forfeited. The remaining amount will be credited to another available reservation within one year of original booking. 3.Cancellation between 60 - 30 days prior to the first day of reservation, 75% of any of the amount paid over 25% nonrefundable deposit will be forfeited. The remaining amount will be credited to another available reservation within one year of original booking. 4.Cancellation within 30 days of the first day of reservation, 100% of the amount paid is forfeited in full. 5. All cancellations must be received in writing, sent via email or registered mail. The Ark Ubud Bali is not responsible for expenses incurred in preparation for any canceled trips, such as airline tickets, or for costs incurred due to travel delays, flight cancellation or illness. We highly recommend that both Renters and Participants obtain travel insurance (medical and trip) with a trip cancellation policy. Please check with your travel insurance company for more detailed information. 6. A reservation and facility agreement are fully transferable to another retreat host over the age of 18, for the same dates and package. 7. Any change in reservation dates or decrease in nights reserved after this agreement is signed, will be considered a cancellation and the cancellation policy will be in full effect for requested changes. 8. Only one (1) reschedule is allowed, if said rescheduled is initialed by the renter, in which case the cancellation policy still applies. Any additional reschedules or date changes will result in an additional $250 charge, per reschedule/change. *Should Indonesia and/or Bali close borders due to Covid-19 and travel to Bali is not possible for this reason only, 100% of the amount paid will be credited to another available reservation within one year of Indonesia and/or Bali reopening to tourist travel. No refunds will be issued at any time.
What is the deposit policy for The Ark Ubud Bali
TERMS & CONDITIONS: PAYMENT TERMS: All pricing is quoted in USD and must be paid in USD directly to our Wise account. Transfer fees, exchange and bank fees shall be paid by the Renter. We also accept PayPal/Venmo, Credit Cards/Debit Cards, and Cash. Please note additional fees may apply for these types of payments (3-5%) NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT: To reserve your selected dates for your retreat, an initial NON-REFUNDABLE and NON TRANSFERABLE 25% deposit is due upon signing of your contract. We DO NOT hold dates without a signed contract and deposit made, and reservations are made on a first come, first paid basis. DEPOSIT & PAYMENT SCHEDULE: 25% Due Upon Signing of Contract 10% Due 6 Months Prior To Reservation Start Date 15% Due 4 Months Prior To Reservation Start Date 50% Due 1 Month Prior To Reservation Start Date Food/Services invoice will be sent 5 days prior to start and must be paid prior to check-in. Any deposit “Balance Due” hereinabove is due on or before to successfully reserve the venue. The Balance Due amount excludes applicable Overage Fees. If Renter(s) fail to pay the Balance Due on or before the above due date, the reservation will be deemed cancelled and forfeited without further notice. If the event extends beyond scheduled end time, more than one (1) hour, without prior approval, the Renter will be charged an additional fee of $100 USD per hour. RENTAL REQUIREMENTS: Retreat Host must have authorization to work in Bali. If you do not have the proper visa, we can connect you with a local agent that can provide short term permission OR you can use your own contact. This is not a service of The Ark. There is a fee associated with this and that is handled directly with the agent. Host and All guests must provide a copy of their passport prior to OR upon arrival to The Ark. Passports need to be valid for at least 6 months past scheduled departure date (from Bali). All deposits paid by due dates as outlined in this agreement. Meals will be invoiced in advance, based on the attendee number submitted by the Renter, and must paid prior to check-in. Any additional services provided by or contracted by The Ark will be invoiced to the Renter after the price is approved.
