Distinctive spaces for connection
Arts and Library Rooms
The Long Way Home Eco-Campus houses indoor and outdoor retreat spaces. In our library, you can hold a meeting or yoga session for up to 15 people under a glass bottle dome. We also offer covered outdoor yoga and gathering spaces located amidst local flora and fauna and with a view of the agricultural valley behind our campus. There is sufficient and beautiful covered outdoor gathering space for three breakouts groups of 40-50 people each, if doing yoga 25-30 people each. Among the 15,000 tires that hold up our campus, we have an uncovered amphitheatre, made up of 5 rows of tire retaining walls. Set up your mat or take a seat and gather with your retreat community. Capacity of the ampitheatre is 35-40 for yoga and 100 for meetings. Ready for food in the middle of your retreat day? Our campus offers two covered outdoor dining areas, one of 30-40 person capacity and the other of 20 person capacity. On the Long Way Home Eco-Campus we offer adaptable spaces to fit a variety of needs!

Volunteer House
Volunteer House - this accommodation is in one of our newly constructed green-designed houses (bamboo framing, glass bottle lighting, and adobe plastered walls). The toilets are dry compost, separating the liquids (diluted and used in gardens) from solids. It has a communal kitchen, stocked with all basic staples (salt, oil, propane for cooking, dish/hand soap). Rooms are shared, with a total of 8 beds (blankets and sheets provided). Bedding Also included - toilet paper, house laundry, and drinking water. There is running water but it is not heated. Some volunteers chose to do "bucket baths" and heat water from the stove for showers.
Accommodation House 2
The accommodation for volunteers will be in our eco-lodge dorm, with a shared kitchen and living room, a shared bathroom, and a terrace with a stunning view of the forested surrounding region and the distant volcano of San Pedro.

Community Kitchen
We have a communal kitchen, stocked with all basic staples (salt, oil, propane for cooking, dish/hand soap). You will be allowed to use the house kitchen and amenities to cook and store food. A private kitchen (with refrigerator and propane stove-top) to cook your own meals.
