Superior Room
Each Superior Room comes with two double beds or one queen-sized bed. Superior Rooms are a more spacious version of the Standard Rooms with more of a luxury room feel. Warm wood finishes and local art reflect the heritage Guanacaste traditions that inspire our business model.
The Superior Rooms are a great option for groups who want a number of private rooms situated nearby one another. This type of accommodations is great for large groups with varying needs.
Superior Queen Room
Experience a higher level of comfort and convenience in our newly upgraded Superior Queen Room at Hotel Hacienda Guachipelin. Nestled at the heart of our vibrant activity’s hub, this room offers an unparalleled central location, ensuring easy access to our main reception area, restaurants, and pool.
Each room walks out to a shared covered terrace that faces a large, open green space that is ideal for bird watching and photo opportunities. Each Superior Queen Room comes with two queen-sized beds, security box, air conditioning, ceiling fan, mini refrigerator, cable TV, coffee maker, and phone, plus an environmentally friendly solar-powered water heater. Room rates include a full buffet breakfast and access to our on-site Rio Negro Hot Springs and Mud baths.

La Hacienda Restaurant
Savor the flavors of authentic Costa Rican cuisine at Hacienda Guachipelin Restaurant. Delicious, fresh meals are lovingly prepared by our Costa Rican chefs following time-honored traditional recipes from our region of Guanacaste and Costa Rica.
We offer you farm-to-table homemade meals, producing on our ranch much of the food that we serve in our Hacienda Restaurant. What we don’t grow or raise ourselves, we source fresh from sustainable local vendors.
Nekajui Garden
“Nekajui“, the Chorotega word for garden was selected for our garden and restaurant environment. In a pleasant corner of the old garden of the hacienda house, 4 pleasant firepits have been placed to enjoy an excellent cocktail and something to eat outdoors. On the terrace, next to the hacienda’s old clay oven, we have selected some dishes that we prepare in the coven to enjoy local ingredients with dishes from the area.
El Rincón del Café
At El Rincón del Café, we invite you the exciting world of high-quality Costa Rican coffee. Our mission is to provide you with a unique sensory experience, offering an exceptional selection of coffee from Naranjo and Tarrazú, two of Costa Rica’s most renowned coffee regions.

Taste the distinctive flavors our wood burning ovens give our meals, from our homemade breads to our pizzas and desserts. All wood is sustainably harvested from our ranch. Relax with our friendly service and spectacular views across our ranchlands and forest to the Pacific Coast.

What is the cancellation policy for Hotel Hacienda Guachipelin
Cancellations will be effective from the date of receipt of written notice by email info@guachipelin.com from our Reservations department and confirmation received by our hotel. If you apply for a refund, it shall be in accordance with our policies as detailed below: Full payment is due upon reservation. No refunds or credit for cancellations, no show or parcels or portions of unused reserves. Early departures will be charged in full. Cancellations must be received in writing. Any cancellation at least 15 days before arrival will be charged 100% of the total amount. Cancellation of reservations for Easter, Christmas or New Year (December 20 to January 2) with less than 30 days before the date of arrival will incur a penalty of 100%. From December 20 to January 5: 2 night minimum stay. Cancellation policies don’t apply for Non Refundable rates. In case a reservation is made with a non-refundable rate there will be no refund. Black Friday Sale is a non-refundable rate
