At Tierra de Agua, we understand that food is our medicine and what enters our temple to fill us with vitality and strength. This is why we offer a varied menu in our different spaces, always sourcing fresh, local foods that provide us with the energy we need to feel fulfilled in the midst of nature.
Many of our foods are grown by our rural neighbors, our vegetables are harvested in our garden, and our meals are sweetened exclusively with our unique panela, organically grown on our land.
Our menus have been designed by experienced chefs, where plant protein is the main ingredient, but always guaranteeing delicious flavors that will make you live a healthy and surprising gastronomic experience. For non-vegetarians, rest assured, we also have options with animal protein!
Our artisanal pizzas, which you can enjoy anywhere in the Ecohotel, are a must-try during your Tierra de Agua experience!

At Eco Hotel Tierra de Agua, we enjoyed a magical experience with members of the Arhuaco community of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta and various indigenous traditions from Colombia, such as the Muisca and the southern department of Putumayo. With a deep respect for Mother Earth, they shared their knowledge with us, convinced that the balance of humanity depends on it.
On our hike to our nature reserve, sugarcane fields, a water source, and a panela mill, we also visited our Seywe community, where the indigenous kanguruas (wooden houses) were built by these indigenous traditions. These kanguruas were built on these lands with the help of the entire eco-community. There, they gave us a glimpse into the indigenous world, their traditions, their care for nature, and how we can all contribute to the balance of our ecosystem.
