I spent over 15 years exploring the art of yoga and I love the gurus I’ve head in my life. They taught me that Yoga is like a dance. The music and the breadth are the guides for the body to move and explore. To me, yoga is not how far you can bend or if you can touch your toes, it’s the ability to learn about yourself on the way there. I love to share what I love and practice with the world.

Retreat Specialties

Retreats are a great way to bond, to escape and to enjoy the practice. Sometimes I also include painting and art therapy with yoga practice.

Teaching Specialties

With groups, I love to teach power yoga and vinyasa flow. It challenges the group and creates an amazing amount of energy in the room. For private lessons, I create personalized practice. Some people just need to slow down and relax, some need an energy boost, some need stability in their lives and some need to understand their fears and limitations. The beauty of yoga is that it covers all of the above.

What are your favorite Retreat Venues around the world

I love nature and would stay away from stuffy rooms if I could. Costa Rica is my favourite place, especially volcanic views. When it comes to a particular studio, Anuttara Yoga Shala in Delray Beach, FL is an amazing place to leave all your worries behind.

What's your personal definition of what it means to thrive?

To thrive is to have enough energy and drive to be able to share what you love with the world.

Who do you look up to ? Who has helped you the most along your teacher / retreat leader journey?

My guru from NYC. His name is Amrit Singh Khalsa. An absolutely unapologetic, energetic instructor who was pushing everyone to the limit. Back then I needed such practice and although I don’t teach in the same manner I think of his classes a lot even 15 years later.
