The word "unflappable" has been used to describe me by more than one person. But I certainly don't FEEL unflappable. In fact, I feel quite "flapped," quite often. You see, I'm prone to anxiety, self-doubt having been programmed into my psyche from a very young age.

That anxiety was compounded by weight and body-image issues and low self-esteem, which led me to addiction.

But I've done a lot of work to conquer these issues. I've changed my diet and developed an exercise routine that helps me maintain healthy body weight without it having to be a part-time job. I've devoted myself to a daily practice of qigong and meditation that helps ease the worries in my heart and mind. And I use these practices on a daily basis to quell my anxiety. And based on the above perception of me, I guess they work!

I LOVE sharing the knowledge that I've gained through my personal experiences and the wisdom that I've developed through my ordeals. There is nothing more fulfilling to me than empowering people in their own health and wellness.

From teaching stretches that address pain patterns, meditation techniques to find peace in one's heart, to sharing delicious, nutritious recipes, I love being healthy - physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Because when we are healthy, we feel good. And when we feel good, we become beacons of light, inspiring everyone we come into contact with, making the world a better place. And we all know the world needs more of us.
