Before I ever stepped on a mat, I nurtured a long love affair with movement and the body as a means of creative and emotional expression. I began my yoga practice, as many do, through asana. The more time I spent on my mat, the more I was drawn into the meditative aspects of yoga and the deep relationship between mind, body, and Self. What I found on my mat, I strive to cultivate in my students: the tools to move more mindfully both on the mat and in daily life.

Amansala in Tulum, Mexico -- I have been to Amansala as a retreat participant, on my own, and as a retreat leader. The property is beautiful and perfectly located right on the beach. The staff is exceptional and make you feel like part of the family.
