Hello! I have spent the last 20 years of my life dedicated to fitness, health, yoga and personal development. My love of being active and maintaining a healthy lifestyle stems back to childhood and has continued to evolve and expand throughout my adult years.

My background and education in sports, fitness, nutrition, yoga, coaching and meditation as well as overcoming chronic back pain and an auto immune disease lends to my ability in helping others create a path to their own Optimal Health and Lifestyle, Physically, Emotionally, Mentally and Spiritually.

I have studied with many teachers, mentors and continuously seek out and study up to date information and education in yoga, functional movement, nutrition and other modalities that can best serve my clients in the most holistic, effective and efficient manner.

I have been teaching yoga for nearly 12 years in the Treasure Valley and Northwest in studio, in-home (one on one), in schools, on water (SUPYoga), in offices, and parks. My favorite path of sharing all things Yoga and Adventure is in running my Wilderness Yoga Retreats in the mountains of Idaho and Wyoming. I will soon be hosting retreats abroad in 2021. My retreats blend Yoga with outdoor activities including Hiking, Mountain Biking, White Water Rafting, Sea Kayaking, Snow Shoeing, Golfing, and soon to be Surfing!

What lights me up?! Living each day to the fullest based in love, peace, acceptance and balance on a daily basis and helping others cultivate the same. I LOVE witnessing the Growth & Healing of others through their yoga practice and retreat experiences!

What are your favorite Retreat Venues around the world

Tetons in Wyoming & Sawtooth Mountains in Idaho. I can't choose just one because my soul feels like home in both. They are where I feel most connected, grounded and centered. Their vastness are a beautiful reminder of humility, love & trust.

What's your personal definition of what it means to thrive?

Thriving to me means maintaining balance in all things life; work, health, relationship, fun, rest, and nutrition while continuing to take little steps to bigger goals. To continue to stay open to what life brings forth to me, and if I can lay my head down each night, knowing that I have made a positive impact in at least one person's day/life...then I am living my life on my path of PURPOSE :).

Who do you look up to ? Who has helped you the most along your teacher / retreat leader journey?

There are too many to list, but my first teacher and mentor, Jamie Mitchell, was a big influence and support in the beginning of my yoga practice journey and teaching. Much of the Bikram Yoga senior teaching community as well as GuruSingh, Rod Stryker, Paul Chek and many more. As a retreat leader, I started from scratch 10 years ago combining outdoor activities that I love and want to share with others in Nature and weave them in with yoga practice and meditation for an overall rejuvenating experience. I have to give credit to OARS outfitters for getting my feet wet in hosting my first 3 retreats with them on Jackson Lake in Wyoming. It was there that I built the framework for my continued retreat offerings. I currently create my own itineraries and contract activity aspects that I am unable to offer on my own. Checking out of daily life to check in to one's Self is a retreat philosophy I embody and encourage my guests to do the same. I believe that all retreats can lend inspiration, revival and a sense of reset to all who attend, and that each retreat leader offers a unique package that speaks to those who are called forth to attend. There are so many opportunities to create awesomeness for others, and I am so grateful for all who trust in me to lead their retreat experience.
