Founder of the Sacred Movement, Iraimer (Ira) is a 500 E-RYT dance-movement artist, trauma-informed holistic lifestyle coach, and educator of the healing and integrative modalities of Yoga, Ayurveda and Neurodynamic Breathwork.

Rooted in Vedic sciences, she uses psychology and somatic practices as a means to empower others through the process of broadening their current state of awareness, reconnecting to the infinite source of wisdom and love within, to succeed in the journey of life by cultivating a sacred relationship with the inner-outer environment, and source. She aims to guide individuals through sacred journeys that ignite their curiosity to rediscover themselves, and offers practices to both balances and integrate the body-mind with the soul’s purpose (dharma), and from here, move through the body of the world embodied.

Based in the northeast coast, and her home base - Puerto Rico - Iraimer leads culturally-immersive retreats, healing gatherings, teacher training and wellness consultations internationally.

What's your personal definition of what it means to thrive?

To thrive is to be successful in all aspects of your life, starting with the relationship you cultivate with your body, your mind, and spirit. From this relationship, every single other is born from. To harmonize within is to thrive not only in the process of embodying your authentic nature in life, but it allows us to harmonize with our external environment which empowers us to move through the body of the world in a sacred way.

Who do you look up to ? Who has helped you the most along your teacher / retreat leader journey?

My teachers Radhanath Swami, Dhanudhara Swami, Kausthuba Das, Dhyana & Syama Masla, Erin Telford, Vira Tansey, Resmaa Menakem, Bonnie Bainbridge & Scott Lyons are some of my biggest inspirations along the path of embodiment, conscious movement, and self-healing modalities. They have impacted my life because of the sincerity in which they share wisdom, and because their ability to truly live their practice. The walk the talk and teach by example, because it is from LIVING it that we can share in a profound and authentic way, and therefore guide others to do the same!
