Here's a little bit about me and my Wellness journey. In 2015 I, like many others felt I needed to find myself again. I started going to yoga as a way to find me, and immediately fell in love with the practice, and started feeling the benefits, mentally, physically, and spiritually.
After years of my own personal practice, I wanted to learn more about yoga and started taking college courses at Westminister. Initially, I didn't think I wanted to teach. I simply wanted to learn more about the philosophy of it all and thought it was worth my time to become a certified instructor through Settled Life Yoga (Westminster College).
Since graduating something amazing happened, everything aligned and fell into place. I've had job offers and opportunities falling into my lap and I knew I'd found my calling.
After a couple of incredible years of teaching yoga. I felt called to get Reiki and sound certified. I'm so honored to be able to offer my healing tools to others. I'm now a Yoga Instructor. Reiki 1 and 2 Practitioner. Sound-bath, meditation guide. Owner and host of Wild Wellness Retreats. I love holding space for others. I love connecting with people. I'm very passionate about what I do and seeing the growth in my students and in myself.
I am starting to dive into the healing powers of plant medicine. I believe the mother earth has provided us with everything that we need to heal and grow. We will see how this journey unfolds in the future.
One of the most beneficial things I've found is the power of the breath. Breathing is a way to tap into our life force energy and connect with our inner selves. I've found that if we can learn to slow down and tune into our breath it can help ease our anxiety when things feel overwhelming or out of control. It can help bring you to the present moment.
I think it’s so important to connect to our higher selves and others by practicing mindfulness, breathwork, compassion, movement and self-love. This is where the beauty lies. This is where healing happens.
Off of my mat. I'm a proud mom to two beautiful daughters. I try to lead through example. But what I have realized is I have so much to learn from them. They are my teachers. I love being in nature, going on road trips, camping, hiking, traveling, dance parties, coloring, drinking coffee and spending time with my love.
Being able to guide others has been so fulfilling, I have seen the changes in my life in so many positive ways. I will never tire of guiding others and helping them see their own highest potential, and I look forward to the chance to practice with you as we connect to our highest selves. Just one inhale and exhale at a time.
