Hi I'm Stuart, dad to 3 amazing children and Tantra Yoga teacher. I am co-owner of Yogalife studios in the UK, and offer yoga & wellness retreats, workshops on Tantra Yoga, & host 200, 300 & 500 hour yoga teacher training qualifications. I came across Tantra and found it’s perspective on life nothing short of mind-blowing & life-affirming.

My passion became understanding life, relationships, the body, and where it all fits in together.

What I discovered, is that they all interweave. The relationships I have with myself, the way I view myself and the ways I connect with world around me, will be an indicator of how I’m experiencing life and how successful my life will be.

Now, after spending the best part of two decades studying all aspects of wellness from physical fitness, to nutrition, yoga, and many forms of philosophy, I have come to a place where I have been able to develop a method to help transform people's lives on every level.

The view point is that we wall want to experience the exciting aspects of life to their fullest and we all want to manage the challenging aspects as best as we can.

My system is called Move – Breathe – Connect. It incorporates physical strength, mobility, rhythmic movement, breathing techniques & mind exercises. I wanted to create something that is accessible and deeply enriching for everyone, and I’ confident this system ticks those boxes.

Retreat Specialties

The retreats offer an opportunity to reconnect to who we really are at our core. Life is an adventure, and sometimes we lose that creative, intuitive spark in our everyday world. Escaping to our sanctuary is the perfect remedy, with incredible nutritious food, world renowned teachers, beautiful surroundings and good souls to bring out the most vibrant version of you. Relax, unwind, restore and reveal the best version of yourself.

What are your favorite Retreat Venues around the world

Pondicherry, India where I completed one of my Tantra training and returned for a retreat. My favourite place to have hosted a retreat was the first one I ever hosted some 7 years ago, Cortijo la Presa, Granarda, Spain. It was special as it was the first time I had hosted a retreat of my own, rather than working in partnership. I felt so incredibly humbled and grateful that a group of students wanted to share a trip with our team. The second was in Verona, Barcelona, as this was the last retreat I hosted before the world went into lockdown.

What's your personal definition of what it means to thrive?

To be liberated in our body, our mind and in our relationships with those around us and nature.

Who do you look up to ? Who has helped you the most along your teacher / retreat leader journey?

My loving partner Louise, my mother & children who by their example show me the best way to live and be truthful to myself. My Swami Vidyanand, who has been my teacher and point of reference for many years now.
