I love teaching, sharing my enjoyment of yoga with others. Sometime a single class is just not long enough to really get in to the yoga and I felt it was time to fully immerse and offer a weekend retreat. Where I can create a tranquil and relaxing experience, offering yoga and meditation.
It was almost by accident that I went along to my local yoga class and I have never looked back. I had tried other forms of exercise, swimming, running, going to the gym, pilates, all of which I had enjoyed for a time but I did feel like I had to often force myself to go.
Yoga changed all that, I looked forward to every class. It began as something I did for my body, to tone, to stretch, to strengthen, and it was achieving that, but there was something else too. I felt clearer in my mind, more thoughtful and aware and appreciative of my life. Yoga inspired me. It opened my heart and my mind and gave me the self belief to explore further and train as a yoga teacher.
As a teacher I aim to share the joy of yoga and all the wonderful benefits of the practice.
