A dedicated student of classical Tantric philosophy and the school of Embodied Flow™, Collette honors her teachers Tara Judelle, Leila Sadeghee, Bridget Luff, Hareesh Wallis, Adyashanti and the Trika lineage of Non-Dual Kashmir Shaivism. A devoted practitioner, she shares the teachings and practices that continue to transform her life and shift her way of seeing.

Curating powerful containers and safe spaces, Collette’s classes are an ongoing inquiry into embodied liberation, inspired by the work and research of Tara Judelle and the Embodied Flow™ school. She facilitates immersive experiences that students can soften and surrender into, before pouring soulful, thematic sequences into their systems and cells. Fluid and free, Collette holds the space for intuitive moving meditations where students are guided by the creative life force that courses through their being.

Her great love is kula and she is inspired by the power of community and the circular way in which we can create together and support one other.

I will not die an unlived life. I will not live in fear of falling or catching fire. I choose to inhabit my days, to allow my living to open me, to make me less afraid, more accessible; to loosen my heart until it becomes a wing, a torch, a promise. I choose to risk my significance, to live so that which came to me as seed goes to the next as blossom, and that which came to me as blossom goes on as fruit. -Dawna Markova

Retreat Specialties

My partner cooks and I teach. It's a family affair with plenty of space, an overflow of inspiration and the chance to make sweet connections with your retreat companions.

Teaching Specialties

I am interested in facilitating freedom. So my students are empowered to make choices, to explore, to take their time, to slip beneath the automatic, reactive and expected. As a facilitator of Embodied Flow™, I come from the understanding that the body is a vehicle for awakening and that we can form a profound connection with all the layers of our being. This means learning to listen to our embodied intuition, our creative inspiration, that part of us that brightens towards truth. What I offer is a sacred space where each being is invited to rekindle an intimacy with their true nature and the profound intelligence of their extraordinary body-mind matrix. And I do that through meditation, free movement, asana, embodiment practices, journaling and inquiry. My classes are immersive journeys where you can lose yourself and find yourself, over and over and over.

What are your favorite Retreat Venues around the world

Desa Saya, Bali - impeccable service, they are a true partner and the property is breathtaking, private and of the highest standard. Silver Island - a dream venue and very well known. It's expensive and I haven't run a retreat there - just had the privilege of attending one - Lisa and Corne, the owner-hosts are wonderful. I tend to run my own retreats from private villas in Ibiza or the UK.

What's your personal definition of what it means to thrive?

To thrive is to experience life in all its fullness. It's resilience, agency, a sense of freedom and flow. It's falling in love with this whole human experience and honoring our natural desire to create, potentiate and be well.

Who do you look up to ? Who has helped you the most along your teacher / retreat leader journey?

Tara Judelle & Leila Sadeghee. I met Tara and Leila at the same time, at a little festival called European Yogi Nomads, which was an Anusara event, run by the wonderful Anne Vandewalle. It was 2013 (I think) and I had been looking for my teacher. They both arrived at the same time and what I saw in them was poetry. An embodiment of the teachings that transmitted so powerfully through the space. They were the real deal. They do the work, honor the teachings and the practices and share in a way that penetrates to the core of your being. They have taken me into their care whilst simultaneously modeling clear boundaries and true self worth. I am forever grateful and continue to study with them both.
