Jada is a Hungarian-Canadian who grew up in the snowy mountains of northern Canada. She is a trained dancer, raised in a family full of musicians and she lives for music and movement that fills the heart. When she met her husband in 2014, they spoke endlessly of their shared-dream to open a magical space, where people could go to reconnect to nature and find any type of healing they might seek. After travelling all over the world, they landed in Mallorca, Spain where they decided to start pursuing their dream. Jada teaches dance wherever she goes and she is known for her ability to get people to let loose, forget about their insecurities and connect to music. She is a certified yoga instructor (specialized in Kundalini) and she graduated in Vancouver, Canada with a Masters Degree in Psychology and Human Development. She likes to use her gentle-natured leadership along with the many tools she has cultivated over time, to intentionally bring people together in ways that feel healing. Jada knows that we all carry different wounds and baggage in our lives and she loves offering a variety of opportunities in which people can work on themselves and heal from past hardships. Whether it’s a mesmerizing yoga practice, a timeless and exhilarating dance session, an informative counselling-based discussion, a silent walk in nature or a combination of all of these - Jada dedicates her life energy to providing a safe and loving space for people to come and be their vulnerable, authentic and awesome selves. She’s a Jack of many trades and forever student of life and its countless lessons. Jada’s days are mostly spent now hosting intentional vacation getaways, a variety of workshops and retreats at Spoon Full O’ Moon, a space in the centre of the island of Mallorca where people come from all of the world to visit. Since even their first year of business, Jada and her partner’s space has been featured in top magazines about Mallorca and sustainable Travel.

Retreat Specialties

Our retreat space is in the heart of the island of Mallorca - Spoon Full O’ Moon. It is a place where people can seek whatever type of healing they are in need of. Whether it’s through yoga, dance, being in nature, body work, counselling or a combination of many of these elements, our space is a place that offers everyone the opportunity to recenter themselves and feel refreshed. We offer fully organic, vegan meals made with local ingredients to help heal visitors from the inside out. Our approach is to provide a safe and loving environment where we ask people what they feel they need from us, rather than telling them. Our goal is to support guests to feel uplifted, hopeful and reconnected to themselves and everything around them.

What are your favorite Retreat Venues around the world

The Haven on Gabriola Island - I love the intention and energy of the venue and its programs. It is also surrounded by breath-taking nature. Gaga Dance Retreat in the desert of Isreal - based very much on body awareness and free movement, this retreat was a beautiful combination of dance, healthy food and nature. Women's Day Retreat at Spoon Full O' Moon, Mallorca - a beautiful day on an outdoor platform in the forest, led by women for women. It consisted of dance, yoga, meditation, a sound bath and fresh fruits off of the local, organic trees.

What's your personal definition of what it means to thrive?

To live each day with honesty a sense of abundance - doing things that fill your heart, fulfill your innate urge for creative expression and unite your mind, body and soul with a harmonious sense of purpose. When we thrive as individuals, our relationships to everything in life thrive as well.

Who do you look up to ? Who has helped you the most along your teacher / retreat leader journey?

Inevitably, the many instructors and teachers who I have had the honour of working under have shared with me priceless knowledge that has helped me on my path. However, nothing has inspired me more than the feedback and genuinely joy-filled facial expressions of the people who I have taught or led along the way. I love seeing the childlike happiness radiate out of people's eyes when they are participating in intentional activities that truly connect them to their soul. I learn something from everyone I "teach", making the experience more of an exchange than anything else.
