What are your favorite Retreat Venues around the world

This a place in Alentejo, Portugal where I usually guide my retreats. The surrounding nature of the “montado” invites us to a feeling of serenity and harmony, surrounded by fruit trees, a beautiful lake, hills and a swimming pool. Single rooms, with a private bathroom. Double bedrooms for couples, with a private bathroom.

What's your personal definition of what it means to thrive?

To be willing to allow life to be as it is and to find a space in your heart to hold it all.

Who do you look up to ? Who has helped you the most along your teacher / retreat leader journey?

Sagarapriya; Bhikkhu Analayo; Steven Hickman; Susan Woods; Vidyamala Burch. I'm probably forgetting some of them, but these are the ones I have been learning the most from. Can't forget of course, the Buddha.
