From humble beginnings on the prairies of Saskatchewan comes Danielle Arsenault, a certified raw food chef, educator, cookbook author, motivational speaker, nutrition and lifestyle coach, TV show host, Spanish teacher, outdoors enthusiast, musician and founder of Pachavega Living Foods Education and The Raw food Chef Alliance. Pachavega offers plant-based nutrition coaching, designs and upgrades plant-based menus, hosts international holistic wellness retreats and vegan culinary chef trainings, specializing in raw food chef certification courses around the world. Despite the many hats Danielle wears, she simply refers to herself as a minimalist, curious creative and lover of all things. She earned her Advanced Raw Food Chef and Educator Certificate though the Raw Foundation Culinary Arts Institute in Vancouver, BC and the Anne Wigmore Institute in Puerto Rico. With a Bachelor's degree in drama and a post-graduate in the Master of Education program from the University of Calgary, Danielle has been teaching for 15 years. She has developed holistic nutrition courses at Pacific Rim College in Victoria, BC and has created various curriculum over the years. In 2017, she was named one of Canada's Top Vegan Influencers by Impact Magazine. Danielle co-hosts Plant-based Retreats and teaches Raw Food Chef Certificate Courses throughout the year in BC, Canada and Ometepe, Nicaragua. She and her incredible husband, Cris, are co-founders of Wanderlust Utopia, a conscious, sustainable, socially responsible, eco-modern retreat center for yoga teacher trainings, wellness events and private functions on Ometepe Island, Nicaragua where they reside half the year with their daughter, Indira.
