Bringing people together has always been something I’ve loved to do. While completing my yoga teacher training, I realised that running retreats would bring joy to many women who were feeling disconnected from who they were and were wanting to start a journey of self discovery and reconnection. After receiving my professional coaching diploma, I decided to combine the practical tools of western coaching with the magic of intuition and yoga to bring women a space where they could be themselves. Nature & Nurture Retreats was born as I believe in the medicine of nature and the need to nurture ourselves.

Retreat Specialties

Nature & Nurture Retreats are participant focused. You’re provided with an itinerary for the retreat but all activities are optional. You’re invited to check in with yourself and decide what feels good for you each day. Sometimes a sleep in is more beneficial than a yoga practice! They’re a beautiful mix of action, rest & nourishment.

Teaching Specialties

As a teacher, I allow you the space to find your own practice in a safe and meaningful way to you. I will guide you to explore your bodily limits while giving you the understanding that everybody is different.

What are your favorite Retreat Venues around the world

Lochmara Lodge, Marlborough Sounds, New Zealand I love how it is an eco-lodge that has so much to do in and around the natural environment. I adore the beautiful walks, the food, the ocean that you can swim, SUP or kayak in and of course the people. I’m excited to host more retreats at other beautiful New Zealand locations and internationally in the future.

What's your personal definition of what it means to thrive?

To thrive means to be you. It means allowing yourself opportunities to cultivate the space you need to grow from the inside out. It means to nourish your body and mind in a way that feels good and to pay attention to that little voice that guides you. Thriving is coming back to yourself.

Who do you look up to ? Who has helped you the most along your teacher / retreat leader journey?

Gabrielle Harris, Nico Luce and Joe Barnett have all shapes my yoga journey. I look up to these people and other teachers in New Zealand and around the world because of their ability to connect with people and guide them to have their own journey, not forcing their own beliefs onto their students. I admire Colleen Saidman-Yee for her achievements in getting Urban Zen recognised in American hospitals and Rodney Yee for his clear and informative way of teaching. I hope to train with both of them one day.
