After un unexpected stay in an ashram in the North of Sydney, Australia, a few years ago, I just knew it. I wanted to become a yoga teacher.
The inner peace and fulfilment I felt during my stay in this Australian ashram completely changed my approach to life and happiness.
I initially went to Australia to find answers to questions that had been haunting me for a while: what is the purpose of life? What is my path? Where am I going? And then, discovering yoga in this incredible place I came to realize that I already had the answers to my questions, deep inside of me.
Yoga is a journey to your deepest self, a fascinating adventure. As I felt ready to explore the yogic path and find my inner self, I moved to Melbourne in 2016 to do a 200-hour teacher training in vinyasa yoga with Nicky Grimsdale (Here Yoga). I then got into yin yoga and did a 30-hour training at Australia's best yoga center, Power Living, with Truth Robinson, in 2018.
You don't need to be flexible or an athlete to do yoga; it is first and foremost a mindset. I invite you to give it a try, experience it for yourself and find your path - the path that makes you happy because, after all, it's all that matters.
