Authorized Ashtanga teacher "KPJAYI SYC Authorized"

There are as many yoga classes as there are teachers ...

But Cyril has communicative energy that carries and motivates. His encounter with ashtanga was a combination of circumstances: severe back problems forced him to find, to open up to other possibilities to relieve his pain. Passionate about the underwater world and in particular by freedivers and deep-sea divers, he discovers their techniques to find inner calm, the secret of surpassing oneself: asana, pranayama and meditation. Her pain subsides, finally disappearing after a few months.

To deepen his personal practice, he followed the training of Caroline Boulinguez EFAY over 3 years, studied the anatomy of movement and the respiratory system of Blandine Calais-Germain and did a year of the study cycle of osteopathy, before 'study the Ayurveda Yoga Massage method developed by Indian master Kusum Modak with the help of his yoga teacher BKS Iyengar. He also participates in several Yoga Nidra (yogi's sleep) workshops and receives permission to teach from Swami Yogabhakti “Micheline Flak” (Satyanadashram Bihar School).

He is also studying Ayurveda with Dr Kumar at Dixit health & Research Center in Mysore, Indian Philosophy and Sanskrit with various professors such as Dr M.A. Jayashree, Sri. Mr A. Narasimhan, Lakshmish Bhat.

In 2012, he decided to study at the source of teaching at KPJAYI in Mysore, the founding school of ashtanga, with Sharath Jois, grandson of Sri K. Patthabi Jois. During this first trip, It is carried by a sentence, pronounced by this one, during this trip: "deeper in your practice".

Ashtanga is a dive into the interior of being, discovering unexplored depths of ourselves, in search of fluid and light qualities, working strength and flexibility in physical and mental harmony.

He continues his journey by traveling to meet and study each year with teachers from Parampara (Sharath Jois, Petri Raisanen (assistant), Prem & Radha, Tim Feldman, Kino MacGregor)

In 2018 after several trips and months studying at KPJAYI in Mysore with Sharath Jois, he received the blessing from him to teach "Authorized level 1", he is one of the few accredited teachers in France.

To all of them, he is grateful and grateful for bringing the light of yoga into him day after day, revealing his nature and directions in his daily life with all that it contains and requires splendor and perseverance.

When he teaches ashtanga he becomes a ferryman of the world, carrying on this living tradition as he received it in Mysore. His classes, which bring together as many women as men, federated by his good humor and his desire to transmit, combining pedagogy, astuteness and enthusiasm, all in a positive atmosphere.

It guides in learning and helps to progress: the smiles that are born on the faces of its students, the understanding of each person's ability to surpass themselves both mentally and physically during practices are as much satisfaction and motivation to share.
