I have lead over 65 mindfulness, meditation, mindset and yoga retreats over the last two decades. I have led the majority of them in the beautiful Canadian Rockies, but I have also led retreats in Spain and Mexico. My passion is to teach people how to calm their minds and live more in the present moment. At my retreats I teach a number of mindfulness and positive mindset tips and techniques that people can easily incorporate into their lives. What lights me up is when participants tell me how their lives have been transformed by attending one of my retreats. I feel blessed to have had such a positive impact on so many people's lives over the last two decades.

Retreat Specialties

One of the things that makes my retreats special is that I have two decades of experience in facilitating retreats and led over 65 retreats. One thing that I make a high priority at my retreats is to teach my participants various mindfulness, stress management and mindset tips and techniques that they can integrate into their lives with ease when they return home. The majority of my retreats are offered at luxury accommodations such as The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada.

Teaching Specialties

As a teacher my students can expect me to be fun, approachable and compassionate. They can expect me to take what I have learned from the last two decades of facilitating retreats and deliver a great experience for you, no matter if you're a beginner or advanced student in yoga, meditation or mindfulness.

What are your favorite Retreat Venues around the world

The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada - I have led over 35-weekend retreats here and loved every one of them. The luxury of the hotel, the great service, the food is all wonderful. The beauty of the lake, the glacier and being surrounded by the Rocky Mountains is breathtaking. Seriously one of the most beautiful places on the planet. I love taking people on mindful walks along the lake to soak in the incredible energy and magic of this location. Canmore Oprah House, Canmore, Alberta This is a beautiful space for facilitating retreats. I love the location which is right along the creek and is great for mindful walks. It's wonderful to do yoga and meditate while looking out at the beautiful mountains.

What's your personal definition of what it means to thrive?

To me thriving means recognizing what a gift each and every day is and embracing it with a heart full of joy, love, gratitude and compassion.

Who do you look up to ? Who has helped you the most along your teacher / retreat leader journey?

Thich Nhat Hanh - is considered to be the father of mindfulness in the west. I feel blessed to have spent the last two decades travelling overseas on a regular basis to study with him and to take his teachings and integrate them into my retreats. Other mindfulness & meditation teachers that I have been blessed to study with in-person and who have influenced my teachings to include: Pema Chodron, Jon Kabat -Zinn, Sharon Salzberg. Yoga teachers who I have been blessed to study with in-person and who have influenced my teachings to include: Sri K. Pattabhi Jois - the guru of Ashtanga Yoga, Norman Allen - loved his spirit and laugh (RIP), Nancy Gilgoff - loved studying with her on Maui, David Williams - taught me about the power of the breath, Sean Corn - heartfelt teacher, Eoin Finn - taught me that yoga can be fun and playful.
