I grew up in Germany where pretty much everyone is born with a passport and I have been using mine pretty regularly and eventually called Canada home where I raised my 4 children.

The travel bug has stayed with me and after teaching yoga for over a decade, my vision to combine Yoga and Travel evolved naturally and I organized my first retreat: Yoga and Hiking in the Bavarian Alps where I introduced my group to local customs, cuisine and amazing hiking tours as well as daily yoga classes.

More retreats followed to Belize followed. I discovered that I really love organizing these trips and my passion is to give my participants an unforgettable experience.

Next retreat: GREECE May 29-June 5, 2022 One week of yoga, relaxation and adventure on the island of Karpathos!!

Retreat Specialties

My retreats are light and fun with the right mix of adventure, relaxation and rejuvenation.

Teaching Specialties

My vinyasa classes are dynamic and challenging but accessible to all levels. My teaching style is lighthearted and fun and I love to give adjustments to help students grow in their practice and overcome their obstacles. During a yin class I take my students on a journey inward, where there is lots of space for reflection, introspection and pause.

What are your favorite Retreat Venues around the world

My favourite venue is The Crimson Orchid Inn in Orchid Bay, Belize. I have hosted 2 retreats there and there is something about the energy that made them both magical. This small inn boasts a beautiful yoga shala and this simple venue with its big community living room and communal dining room table brought us all closer together. And then there's the scenery!!!

What's your personal definition of what it means to thrive?

To thrive is to be your authentic self and live life with purpose, grace, integrity and determination.

Who do you look up to ? Who has helped you the most along your teacher / retreat leader journey?

All my teachers have left their mark but the 2 teachers that have influenced me the most were Hart Lazer and Bernie Clark. Hart Lazer gave us this advice: "When you don't know what to do, do nothing and wait for 3 days" One of the best pieces of advice I have ever received. Bernie Clark left me with the knowledge that our bodies are all different and we don't make the body fit the pose but we fit the pose to the body.
