Carolina is an avid student and teacher who lists ‘learning’ as one of her favorite things to do. With an unwavering passion and innate curiosity about the human body, Carolina completed her studies in Massage Therapy in 2005, with Kine-Concept. She also completed 500h yoga teacher training with Modo International in 2013 and since, she continued learning from different teachers as Dina Tsouhoulas, Matt Phippen, Eddie Modestini, Ryan Leier, she teaches vinyasa, yin, restorative. She's also an adored teacher at the Montreal Modo Studio, where she evolves in the community for now 7 years. Carolina has the amazing ability to inspire each student to approach and appreciate their bodies in a whole new way, leading them to explore not just the physical, but also fundamental workings of each movement and breath in asana. With lightness, presence and generosity, she will guide you to connect body and mind through breath and movement. Having herself a consistent meditation practice, with her teachers, Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield, she loves to guide meditation in her classes.

Retreat Specialties

They are the perfect combination of adventure, challenge, learning, relaxation and pleasure. I offer an opportunity to disconnect from all social media to reconnect with nature and yourself.

Teaching Specialties

They can expect lightness, a good sense of humour, but also some tough love, to guide them to reach their full potential.

What are your favorite Retreat Venues around the world

I hosted an Adventure Yoga Retreat in Patagonia, in which we stayed at Wild Hostal and also enjoyed Ecocamp Patagonia incredible yoga dome for our practices during the yoga retreat. This is located in Patagonia Chile, at a National Park called Torres del Paine, and we did the W hike, and yoga, meditation in one of the most remote places on Earth.

What's your personal definition of what it means to thrive?

For me thrive is to move though life in my fullest potential as a human being.

Who do you look up to ? Who has helped you the most along your teacher / retreat leader journey?

Dina Tsouhoulas. She’s my mentor. She has taught me so much, on the mat but also off the mat. She believed in me, gave me the opportunity to grow and evolve in the community she built. She’s creative, driven, strong leader and very funny. She lights the room when she’s enters it. Math Phippen, Ryan Leier, Hart Lazer are also inspirations for me, for their knowledge and their leadership.
