I live off-grid at a non-dual Tantrik ashram which I have helped to create alongside my partner Bhairav Thomas English. Together we lead yoga & meditation teacher trainings. It is our hearts calling to share authentic spiritual experiences with those who truly seek to know themselves. I love to share non-dual spiritual teachings, read Sufi poems, chant kirtan, and spending time doing absolutely nothing in the forest.

Retreat Specialties

Our trainings and retreats are a beautiful blend of traditional and contemporary teachings. We teach trauma-sensitive yoga & meditation while creating inclusive spaces with adaptable postures that can be modified to suit all bodies. Our retreats are supported by Spiritual Masters and we have been initiated by a variety of Guru-s into authentic spiritual lineages. Everything we offer is by the support and Grace of our teachers."

Teaching Specialties

I make friends every day that I may refer to (at times) as my students but in actuality, they are fellow Sangha; Spiritual family, and community. Together we teach each other. I do not take myself too seriously and am often quite silly and playful in my lectures and talks. I am committed to my spiritual practice and serving others on their spiritual journey. The more I practice the more I realize I know nothing at all.

What are your favorite Retreat Venues around the world

Anuttara Ashram, Canada - I have lived in many spiritual communities and traveled to all kinds of retreat centers. At the Ashram, there is no pool and there are no fancy drinks. Things are rugged and raw and in my opinion incredibly real. There is a way of life here that for me embodies this divinely human experience. No one is trying to be something other than what they are, we live intimately with nature, and laughter is abundant.

What's your personal definition of what it means to thrive?

"To truly thrive, one must learn to flourish despite external struggles. To truly 'Thrive' does not require that we strive; striving involves effort. If we center within ourselves, we will find that we are naturally and effortlessly flourishing in each moment. Thriving is eternal when we learn to rest in our own infinite Heart. When we move from the Heart, as the Heart, then 'thriving' happens naturally regardless of what appears to be happening outwardly. We will blossom in the surrender of life's flow irrespective of how harmonious or tumultuous it may appear externally; inwardly we are thriving."

Who do you look up to ? Who has helped you the most along your teacher / retreat leader journey?

"There have been many incredible teachers to whom I owe my life. I would not be where I stand today without their gentle guidance. I cannot mention them all but the most significant have been: Mooji Baba, Guruji Maharaj Kumar Baswar, Rupert Spira, Ellen Emmet, My Dear Partner Bhairav Thomas English & the entire Anuttara Sangha"
