I grew up in India, watching my parents overcome health problems with the practice of yoga. The year 2001 found me standing on the threshold of a profound spiritual awakening In Melbourne, stuck between past and future, longing for the freedom I would have only after enduring an arduous journal of inner purification work. The Golden Path of yoga became an intrinsic part of my journey.
Anchored in the grounding quality of yoga, my journey was buoyed with self-love, purified through containment and sacrifice and substantiated through something that felt Divinely Real.
The practice of yoga transformed my delicate health and freed me from the need for surgery; it helped me integrate turbulent emotions and false identification with the external world of name and form. Yoga brought me home to myself and to a true understanding of who I really was.
It helped me realise that just like the lotus flower, I have the capacity to rise through the murky waters of life’s challenges, emerging with the glowing awareness of my truth, radiance and power as a spiritual being with infinite creative potential.
The opportunity to teach yoga was one of the most Divine gifts in my life. I have been teaching in Australia since the past 20 years. I also strive to teach from a holistic angle, so yoga students can benefit at all levels and understand the beauty of their own holistic nature. I am also an artist and combine both into Holistic Retreats, which help people uncover their creative innocence. To this day, Yoga helps me celebrate my journey at every stage of my evolutionary growth.
