About

A wanderlust for travel and spiritual development sent me to India right out of college. There I learned of the deep history of yoga as much more than exercise. I went on to live in an ashram in San Francisco and study yoga extensively in Australia.

What's your personal definition of what it means to thrive?

We thrive when we are pursuing a life of meaning and purpose. We thrive when we care for our bodies and minds, as well as one another and the planet. Thriving is a collective experience. When we make our own wellness a priority we have the energy we need to serve others.

Who do you look up to ? Who has helped you the most along your teacher / retreat leader journey?

My Australian teacher training staff back in 2001, especially Rosa Baudin and Matthew Sweeney, helped give me the tools and confidence to share yoga passionately with others. Sarah and Ty Powers helped me deepen my yin and mindfulness practice. Jenny Aurthur and Jodie Rufty welcomed me into the Yoga Works Teacher Training Family.
